I am a human

But its been ages since I cried

I am a human

Though I walk with battered pride

I am a human

I just have forgotten how to smile

I am a human

Though I have not felt it in a long while

In past sometimes

I have only fought for breads

Untouched by pity

I have lost all my dreads.

I just run and run

And don’t know where to go

And I think I had with me

Some people till a while ago

I am not sure

I guess I called them friends

But now am too busy

To make amends

No don’t deny me

For I had to strive

I am a human

And I fight to survive.
